For Coloured Girls Program is designed to assist young black females as they transition throughout life. This program specifically will focus on mental health, home and school, stress, puberty, pregnancy and the ability to say, "NO" This program will assist with the development and fostering of youth independence, while providing strategies to cope with any situation. This program recognizes that half of the problems that black girls faces are traced to saying YES too quickly and not saying NO soon enough.
Our mentorship program is fun and exciting, because we are developing our young girls through conversations and interaction with their elders. This program is For Girls By Girls, and it will be through group discussion, and one on one conversations.
